You will need to provide a Google accounts’ Email and Password (application specific password recommended).
The Google accounts’ credentials are used to authenticate with the Google servers, and to create an authorization token which is sent to Snapchat in order to successfully login.
Why aren’t you using proper Google OAuth?
What account should I use?
You are able to use any valid Google account, for example a Gmail account.
It is highly recommended that you do not use your personal Gmail or Google account for logging in to Casper and that you create a burn account for logging directly into Casper.
If you prefer to use your personal Google account for convenience, It would be a good idea to have 2 factor authentication setup so you can create an Application Specific password for logging into Casper.
Creating a Burn Account
A burn account is just a regular Google account, however you are creating it for one purpose and it doesn’t matter if you forget the details.
On your Android device, launch the Settings application and navigate to Accounts. From there you want to add a new Google account.
When the add Google account screen shows up, you will want to press ‘Create an Account’.
Fill in some random details, and select a nice Gmail username. Make sure you remember the username and password you enter, as you will then need these to login to Casper.
Creating an account directly via Android instead of via a web browser will remove the need of verifying a mobile number before creating your account.
Two Step Verification:
If you have 2 factor authentication setup on your Google account, you will need to create an Application Specific password to login to Casper.
You can do this via the Google Account manager.
Once you have setup an Application Specific password, enter it into the password field when logging in to Casper with your Google account.
If you haven’t got 2 factor authentication enabled for your Google account, you won’t be able to create an Application Specific password.
